How to file an EDF for Google Play developer earnings
Google Play pays developers outside India for apps, in-app purchases, and subscriptions. The earnings report is the payment record. It is not an invoice, and it is not the estimated sales file.

Amazon Appstore pays developers for apps and in-app items in foreign currency. Use the finalized payment, not an estimate, and describe the work as software.
Use the payment statement Amazon actually paid, in the currency of that payment. An earnings estimate or a sales dashboard is not an invoice. If Amazon converts the payout to rupees before it reaches you, keep the invoice currency the same as the credit you are declaring.
This site does not read an Amazon Appstore file. The fields are the same as for any other software export: recipient, invoice, amount, and SAC code.
The service recipient is the Amazon company named on the statement. Amazon is the third-party payer when buyers paid Amazon and Amazon paid you. Raise an invoice for the same number, date, currency, and amount you put on Part 2B.
SAC 998314 fits apps and in-app purchases. Banks often use purpose code P0807 for off-site software. Confirm that code with the bank. It is not printed as its own column on the form.
App earnings are software. File within 30 days after the end of the month in which the invoice was raised. The option to file on or before the payment date is for services other than software, so it does not apply here.
Foreign-currency proceeds are to be realised and brought into India within nine months from the invoice date. If the invoice or the settlement is in rupees, the period is twelve months. Give the signed form to the bank that receives the money, or to Software Technology Parks of India. Leave the certification block empty. Free EDF does not file the form.

Apple pays App Store proceeds in foreign currency after its commission. The financial report is the record to line up with your invoice. The sales report is not.
The filing clock starts from the invoice month. Realisation is a second, longer clock. Both dates changed with the rules that took effect on 1 October 2026.
