How to file an EDF for AppLovin earnings

English

AppLovin pays publishers for ads shown in apps. Declare the payout you were sent, as advertising, and keep it separate from any app-store sales in the same month.

Which AppLovin total to use

Use the invoice or payment advice AppLovin issued when it paid you. Reporting totals that are still estimated are not the export value. The currency on the form is the currency of that payment. The dashboard AppLovin template reads a revenue CSV and says so when the column is estimated revenue.

AppLovin, the company named on the advice, is the service recipient and the third-party payer. Advertisers paid AppLovin. AppLovin paid you.

SAC code

Describe the service as advertising, SAC 998361. Purpose code P1007 is what banks commonly apply to advertising and market research. It is a hint for the bank, not an extra field on Part 2B.

A Play or App Store earnings file for the same month is a different service. Software stays on SAC 998314. One EDF can list both recipients if both invoices fall in that month.

When to file

File within 30 days after the invoice month. For a service other than software, filing on or before the payment date is also allowed. Ask the bank which description it wants for an ad network.

Realise foreign currency within nine months of the invoice date, or twelve months when the invoice or settlement is in rupees. Free EDF prepares a form in the browser and does not submit it.
