How to file an EDF for Unity Ads earnings

Unity’s revenue screens move until a period is closed and paid. Use the payout record: the amount, currency, and date Unity actually sent. That payment, from outside India, is an export of advertising services from 1 October 2026.

The dashboard Unity Ads template reads a monetization CSV and totals revenue_sum. That is the statistics export. If a later payout statement differs, use the payout.

The service is advertising, SAC 998361. A short description is online advertising space supplied through Unity Ads. Banks often report this under purpose code P1007. Confirm it. Unity is the third-party payer, and the Unity company on the advice is the service recipient.

If the same month also includes a Google Play or App Store payout, that store sale is software and stays on its own line. Do not fold ad revenue and app sales into one description.

File within 30 days after the invoice month. Advertising is generally a service other than software, so you may instead submit the form on or before the day the payment arrives. Ask the bank before you rely on that.

Bring foreign-currency proceeds into India within nine months of the invoice date, or twelve months if the invoice or settlement is in rupees. Sign the form and give it to the bank that receives the money.
