How to file an EDF for Twitch earnings

English

Twitch pays streamers from outside India. Ads are advertising. Subscriptions and Bits are closer to online content. The payout advice has to support any split you put on the form.

Payout, not the dashboard estimate

Twitch revenue on the dashboard is not final until payout. Use the payout record. Twitch is the third-party payer, and the Twitch company named on the advice is the service recipient.

A channel in India paid by that overseas company is exporting a service from 1 October 2026.

Ads and subscriptions

Advertising revenue uses SAC 998361, and banks often use purpose code P1007. Subscriptions, Bits, and similar payments are closer to other online content, SAC 998439, often reported as P1101. Confirm the code with your bank.

If one payout does not split those products into amounts, describe the service the way the payout does. Do not invent shares the statement does not show.

Filing

File within 30 days after the invoice month. These are generally services other than software, so the bank may accept the form on or before the payment date. Ask before you rely on that.

Realise the proceeds within nine months, or twelve months if the invoice or settlement is in rupees. Sign the form and give it to the receiving bank.
