How to file an EDF for Meta payouts and Facebook earnings
Facebook and Instagram earnings paid by Meta are service exports when you are in India. Use the payout statement for the invoice line, and give the form to the bank that receives the money.

Patreon pays creators from outside India for memberships. The payout is the record. The code this site uses for other online content is SAC 998439.
Patron counts and estimated income are not an invoice. Use the Patreon payout: the amount, currency, and date you were paid. Patreon is the third-party payer. The Patreon company on the advice is the service recipient, because the memberships were collected by Patreon. The dashboard Patreon template reads an earnings CSV and uses the payout column when it is present.
From 1 October 2026 that payout is an Export Declaration Form for services, not a SOFTEX form.
The description this site uses for other online content, including a platform that collected membership earnings, is SAC 998439. Banks often report audio-visual and related services under purpose code P1101. Confirm both. A Patreon page that is really software support should use the software code instead.
If one payout mixes months, do not invent a monthly split the statement does not show. Ask the bank if it wants the payout as one line.
File within 30 days after the invoice month. Membership content is generally a service other than software, so filing on or before the payment date may be allowed. Ask the bank.
Foreign currency comes home within nine months of the invoice date. A rupee invoice or a rupee settlement uses twelve months.
