Who we are

Free EDF is a private website. It helps people in India prepare an Export Declaration Form for service exports. Your bank accepts the form. This website does not. Free EDF is not the Reserve Bank of India, a bank, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, or the Software Technology Parks of India.

What stays in your browser

The details you type in the dashboard are saved in this browser, on this device. That includes your name, address, PAN, GSTIN, IE code, bank name, AD code, the kind of service, the invoices for a month, and the filing status you choose.

Those details are not sent to a database we operate. A different phone, a different browser, or a copy of this site after you clear its stored data will not have them. Signing out does not delete them. Clearing this site’s data in the browser does.

Your account

If you create an account or sign in, Firebase Authentication, a Google service, checks your email and password. We do not keep your password. This browser stores the email on the account and the time you last signed in, next to your filing details, so the dashboard can show them.

We do not keep a separate customer database of those account details.

Language

When you choose a language, we store that choice in a cookie named freeedf-locale. The cookie only remembers the language for this site. We do not use it to advertise to you.

Visits

We use Simple Analytics to count how often pages are opened. Simple Analytics does not use cookies and does not build a personal profile of you.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the filing details you type for advertising. We do not file the form for you, and we do not ask for your bank login.

Children

This site is for people preparing an export form. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change. The text you are reading describes the site as it works on that date.
